The Santa Barbara Polo & Wine Festival, held at the beautiful Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club on Saturday October 7th, 2017, is the first of its kind in California. The festival combines polo, local wine, and music for a one-day experience that will be enjoyed by all who attend. This is a true celebration of Santa Barbara and Southern California living.

SBJF Redux is set for March 3 - 4, 2017 in sunny Santa Barbara, CA. This two day inclusive and inspired event will take place in multiple and unique venues, with Downtown Santa Barbara, The Funk Zone, and The Lagoon District serving as the festival backdrop. Venue locations include:

Opening Ceremonies for the Culver City Centennial – Saturday, September 24, 2016
Our 100th year kicks off with a day-long celebration. Be sure to mark your calendar and plan to be a part of the festivities.
9:00 a.m. – Community Parade.
We want to showcase all the great organizations and businesses that make Culver City such a great place to live, work, learn and play.
We will form up at Veterans Park (behind Veterans Auditorium) and march to downtown Culver City at Culver Blvd. and LaSalle. (Two blocks from the Opening Ceremony location in front of the Harry Culver statue and the Culver Hotel at Culver and Main Streets.

11:00 a.m. – Noon – Opening Ceremonies
We will be closing off Culver Blvd at Main Street, marking the location of the original 1.2 square miles that became Culver City. We will have presentations by state and local dignitaries and long-time Culver City residents. We also hope to be joined by the mayors from our four Sister Cities – Kaizuka, Japan; Iksan City, South Korea; Uruapan, Mexico; and Lethbridge, Canada. We will be opening the time capsule from our 75th Anniversary in 1992.
12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Community Block Party
Various food stations, info booths and merchandise vendors will be located in downtown Culver City. Thanks to the Downtown Business Association for coordinating and to The Culver Studios for opening their front lawn for picnics. There will be live entertainment as well as fun for the kids (provided by the Culver-Palms Y). It will be a most festive way to kick off our year-long celebration.

Get ready for the 3rd Annual iSurf Block Party! This party promises to be an AMAZING night of food, music, wine & beer and good times!
The block party, which serves as the Surf Like a Girl's (previously Watergirl Fund) biggest fundraiser, will include a silent auction, raffle, music (DJ Sparx),pig roast dinner (and veggie option), ice cream parlor (McConnell's!!), ocean-themed marketplace and beer (Telegraph! Lagunitas! New Belgium!) and wine. The goal is to raise at least $20,000 to provide up to 600 needs-based scholarships and surf lessons to underserved girls in our community. This program would not exist without the invaluable support of the community. Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door (get early bird tickets NOW for just $30!!!).
Surf Like a Girl (previously the Watergirl Fund) is a non-profit community surf project by iSurf School that provides needs-based surf programming and will introduce the wonders of surfing to girls, ages 5-15, who would don’t have access to the sport. Additionally, Surf Like a Girl is a 1% for the Planet recipient, recognized for the work we do in ocean stewardship and education, so if you are a 1% for the Planet member we would LOVE to work with you!
